My name is Monique Garvin, owner of Royal Roots, LLC, better known as Mo! I’ve been a hairstylist for 26 years. 

I initially obtained my license in 1998, however, I eventually left the industry and joined the corporate world to raise my children for 20 plus years, but my passion for hair never wavered! 

I returned to the industry in 2017 and decided to further my Cosmetology career by becoming a licensed Cosmetology Teacher in 2023. 

I work with all hair types and hair CARE is my first priority! My specialty is LOCS! I am a Master Loctician who is well educated in loc maintenance and loc coloring. 

I’m always accepting new clients and strive to give my clients an atmosphere where they can literally let their hair down! Using the best professional products to maintain healthy hair.

Cornelia Andrews, also known as Cori, has been in the beauty industry for over a decade, starting her journey with a simple desire to perfect clean, natural brows. What began as self-taught makeup artistry soon evolved into a deep passion for beauty, leading her to master everything from soft glam to special effects and editorial looks. In 2022, she took her expertise a step further by earning her esthetician’s license, allowing her to offer facial services, waxing, and makeup. Through her work, she strives to help clients enhance their natural beauty while embracing the transformative power of self-care.  

Cori’s dedication to skincare stems from her own experience with severe cystic acne, which inspired her to learn how to heal and maintain healthy skin. She understands that skin concerns affect not only a person’s appearance but also their confidence and emotional well-being. With a mission to help women clear their skin and cultivate self-love, she believes true beauty starts from within. Taraja “Raj” Gonzalez created Silken Raw Studio in 2020. It began as an all-natural skin

and hair care product line. In 2021, she expanded by opening her own salon studio

located in Cinnaminson, NJ. In the early years of her artistry, she attended Rizzeri

Aveda School, graduating in 2017. She has 8 years of experience in hair and makeup

artistry. In addition to, previously working for some of the most prestige salons in

Southern New Jersey.

Extensions, natural hair styling and flawless makeup applications are her specialty. She

dedicates her time to creating an atmosphere where all clients feel confident,

comfortable and luxurious. She loves to educate her audience on how to maintain hair health and the latest makeup trends.
